Registered Nurse required for a placement in an adult general medical unit in Coastal QLD from 11/11/2026 (or 09/11/2026 if ieMR trained) to 17/01/2027.

Medical G2 Ward (28-bed adult medical unit covering Oncology, Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal, and Acute General Medicine). Working 8-hour shifts as per roster, up to 80 hours per fortnight. Accommodation subsidy up to $200/week reimbursed upon presenting receipts. Candidate must not be a current QLD Health employee (except casual). Early start date of 09/11/2026 available if ieMR trained within the last 6 months.

Essential skills: Candidate will have clinical currency in practice setting with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Good computer literacy skills

Requires AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years clinical currency in general medical/surgical settings. Essential competencies include BLS, manual handling, infection control, child abuse reporting, and occupational violence prevention. ieMR experience highly desirable.
