Clinical Nurse – Mental Health Community Services (Queensland)

Dates: Start ASAP – 13 July 2025
Monday to Friday | No On-Call
76 hours per fortnight
Driver’s Licence Required


About the Role
Skilled Nursing is currently seeking experienced Clinical Nurses for short-term contract opportunities within a regional Mental Health Community Services team. These roles are ideal for candidates with strong mental health case management experience and a passion for community-based care.

Key Requirements:
- Experience in mental health case management
- Ability to work independently in a community setting
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current police check
- Full compliance documentation as per Health Service requirements
- Completion of all mandatory training

Mandatory Training Requirements:
Candidates must have valid, up-to-date training certificates in the following areas:
- Basic Life Support
- Code of Conduct (CORE)
- Cultural Awareness
- Cyber Security Essentials
- Fire/First Response Training
- Fraud Control Awareness
- Hand Hygiene
- Infection Control
- Medication Safety
- Occupational Violence Awareness
- Domestic & Family Violence Training
- Work Health & Safety
- Patient Handling Fundamentals
- SaFE Child Protection (annual)
- BloodSafe Transfusion (Mental Health only requires Clinical Transfusion Practice)
